Curious about AlPowerBook 12 & 15 RAM

Hi guys,

I just wanted to get an answer to this question that has been bugging me.

Is the RAM chip of the AlPowerBook 15-inch the same in terms of size and spec with the RAM chip from a AlPowerBook 12-inch. Are they interchangeable?

I was thinking of moving the 512mb RAM chip from my 12-inch to my 15-inch because i need more RAM in my PB15 for my photo and music programs.

what's the processor speed of your PBs?

First Gen AlBook 12" is using PC266/PC333 while the 2nd gen is PC333.

AlBook 15" is using PC 333 but very "picky".

Please verify the RAM on your 12".

Ok here:

My AlPowerBook 12-inch is running a 1.33GHz G4

My AlPowerBook 15-inch is running a 1.5GHz G4

if that is the case, yes they use the same ram specs.
