now that you can subscribe to Zinio using your iTunes account what to make up Newsstand?

You can? That's great! Though I never found Newsstand magazines to be as enticing as the ones Zinio has on offer. I'm not one for iPad-optimized magazines. I still like mine old-school (as close as I can get to a real magazine, page turning and everything).

I guess it would be more convenient now that Zinio has integrated subscription with Apple. May I ask what magazines you subscribe to through Newsstand?

i don't have a subscription in Newsstand but i have a Slam Magazine Digital Subscription with Zinio.

This is great, thanks for the info. I never bought anything from Zinio but I love the free promo codes they give every once in a while. I got this latest issue from Macworld. I'll definitely try this out.

i did an in-app extension of my Slam subscription. 10 issues for $6.99! what a bargain!
