There's actually a new version coming out which I already submitted to the app store for approval. Should be available within the week.
It has some new features and supports older versions of iOS. So don't forget to update when it does come out.

Metro Traffic Live! - Free real-time traffic updates This app I think is based on the latest MMDA Navigator website. Hence, the smaller streets in the list refer to where they intersect with the major streets. MMDA's site is updated every 15minutes which this app synchs every 10mins.
AFAIK, the MMDA through our own PhilMUGger doblezeta is developing their own iOS & android app, but this app precedes it. Good effort, & quick app writing skills from the author.MBox2 . M-Audio DX4 . FYI there's also another app similar to this
StreetSmart which relies on user generated traffic reports.
You guys may want to combine the two as the above app only covers major throroughfares.
But I do hope that this app will add "social features"
Like logging in using a Facebook, Open ID or Google account and be able to report traffic situation using one's location.
Also a Map View would be better in the long run.
Waze also have a feature similar to this and can actually tell you if there is a congestion ahead (based on crowdsourcing user data like speed)
