Miami has a pretty good chance to repeat next season. my prediction for the finals would be Miami-OKC or Miami-LA. The Knicks will put up a challenge next year for Miami's EC Championship.

Yeah, Kobe's become the elder statesman, supposedly, but sometimes he just doesnt show class. Then again, neither did MJ. I guess tht's part of what makes them great: their ferocity and fierce will to win.

But my pick for next year is still Chicago. Always stuck with them even through the Tim Floyd era (read: the lowest of the low), so Ima stick with them next year. If Drose and Luol can come back healthy and fresh for the Playoffs, the Bulls could be a sleeper team in the 4th-6th slot in the East.

il be curious to find out how boston's lineup will be like when the 2013 season opens, with rumors going around that KG might retire & allen possibly testing free agency.

other teams that could see some lineup changes that may inpact their performance during the full 82-game season (finally!) include: lakers, grizzlies, bulls, magic, & mavs, among others.

but suffice it to say, miami looks like they'll give contenders a tough time next year. i wonder who may not be coming back for them?

but still, my bets on the lakers, thunder, or the bulls.

82 games is just too long, in my opinion. The 66 game schedule was just about right, just maybe space the games out better so there wouldnt be 3 games in 3 nights or 5 games in 6 nights. But the 60+ game schedule works. We can get tothe Playoffs sooner. Haha. Of course, the tradeoff is that we get less inter-conference battles.

We also get more injuries because of the taxing schedule. Remember Miami's championship this year will always have an asterisk.

Lakers wont make it to the finals next year if they dont change their roster. One of the bigs has to go, a shooter is also needed. If they can bring LO back that would help. I still think that Howard is the key to get to the finals next year..
