Dream job, indeed! The trick is while you're young, you look for a job that has a lot of travelling involved -- and not necessarily work as a travel exec of some airline or resort.

When I still worked for a media company, I was able to go to places I would never have been able to go to on my own. Most of the company-sponsored trips i enjoyed were to many different places in the Philippines -- Batanes, Ilocos, Cagayan Valley, Tuguegarao, Benguet, Ifugao, Isabela, many parts of the Visayas (Cebu, Bacolod, Iloilo, Boracay, etc.), and many parts of Mindanao (five days from Dipolog thru Ozamiz, Oroquieta, Iligan, Cagayan de Oro, then to Davao via a land-trip through Bukidnon).

Then there were the junkets to Bangkok, Singapore, and Macau!

that's about the only thing i miss about my old job.....:roll:

Every summer, I travel out of the country. Thing is, my family always goes to the same places! (USA or Canada) hehe! I wish I could go to other places like France, or Africa, or Japan.. but my parents are just weird like that and don't want to? :dry:

Favorite places I've been to in no particular order..
•Bermuda (pink beaches are the best!!)
•USA (used to live there, great amusement parks, museums)
•Canada (used to live there, and still 'live' there nearly every summer. Vancouver's food can't be beat!!)
•London (love the architecture, the people, the fish n chips at covent garden..but hate the weather!)
•Bangkok
•Shanghai
•Taiwan
•Hong Kong
•Singapore (gadgets galore.. Hocker Center has the best food!)
•China (Beijing, Hang Zhou, Xian-forbidden city, Guo Li)

I wanna go to..
Africa and go on a Safari! (I want this to be my graduation gift!) haha!
France, Italy, and Spain
New Zealand (almost went there)
Japan (I'm the only one in my family who hasn't been there.. heard it's incredibly fun!)

hi, gabe--two of my favorite places as well. i lived for three years in wisconsin and, of course, went up now and then to door county. postcard-pretty!

my wife and i also stayed for a month at the villa serbelloni in bellagio, overlooking lake como (where they shot "the phantom menace," among other things; am sure more romantic movies have been done there).



2. Door County - Spent my honeymoon there taking an improv workshop. The town we lived in had a population of 200 and was right on the shores of Lake Michigan. The cottage we stayed in was in the middle of a cherry orchard with foxes coming out of the woods in the early morning picking up the fallen fruit.

3. Lake Como - I swore I would return to this area in Italy for my honeymoon. Siguro sa wedding anniversary na lang.
