Do you have menus without prices? I'm thinking of bringing my parents in for my birthday on Friday, but knowing how old fashioned they are, they'll stare at the prices, and will probably just get the cheapest one on the menu, and not totally enjoy the experience. Just a thought lang, hehe.

    Thanks!
now this is a good idea

Antonio's has always been a favorite, we would drive all the way to Tagaytay just for lunch or dinner for the steak. Love also the ambience and the service, and the fresh salads.

I was surprised at the Wagyu Stone grill. We just happened to be in Eastwood around lunchtime and tried it just for the heck of it, despite some bad reviews I've read. I was warned by the bf that we would need to cook our meat, and I had guessed that all that hoopla was just to add novelty to the experience. We ordered the 350g rib eye to share, and was surprised to have finished all of it. And that was on top of the giant prawns that we also ordered. I had enjoyed, not only the experience, but surprisingly, the food itself.

Elbert's - well, I consider this a given for great steaks.

    Some disappointments: Myron's & Duo.

We have steak once in a while at Felix, I like their Surf & turf version.

Lamski, make sure to defrost very very slowly in the chiller. Overnight would be a minimum. Oil and salt only right before cooking and use nice natural sea salt (like Sicilian Sea Salt) and grapeseed oil since that has a higher smoke point than olive oil. Then make sure that cast iron grill pan is as it its hottest possible.

I tried Alfredos last night and it was good. Reasonable price and big servings. My wife and I had the tenderloin steak and ribs and shrimps combo and a bottle of wine . Have you guys tried I'm Angus in Yakal, Makati. The steaks are good but the quantity is poor and the price is insanely pricely. We had salad and one order of steak only plus a bottle of wine and the bill was like 3.5t pesos whereas in Alfredos, it came 2t only, with huge servings.

Tried this one, too. The steak taste good. It's local beef but it's very tender.

Ate in Gaudi Serendra last night. Super good steak on the hot plate! It was quite some time since i was back here and it was awesome. I believe Gaudi is highly underrated. Check it out for some good piece of meat!

/we had 680 grams of beef goodness with the wifie, also had lamb paella and some appetizers
