MarketMan mentioned getting habaneros at the Salcedo Market so that's a good place to start.

Ugh, this is heavy stuff. Habaneros got me sweating from only looking at them. I like hot and spice food, but these are just too much.

    Default LF:habanero pepper

Thanks guys. Just read this now sayang. I modded the diet a bit hahaha. I made it soup. 2 inches yellow ginger, 4 cloves garlic, 2 red sili labuyo, boiled in 2 cups water then mix a tablespoon of Tabasco (habanero) red sauce then I pop a capsule of cod liver oil. I don't have cancer but what the heck right.

    That's breakfast for me lol.

Burning lips even after an hour though. I'll check out salcedo market soon

mmm.....even if it is pickled, it will still rank high in the scoville scale (piquance or spiciness). I don't personally like habaneros. Peperoncini (much milder) is what I prefer when I want to dial down the heat. Bottled ones can be bought from Rustan's. Perfect side dish for anything Mexican.

But...mmm....Dr. Pepper might be on to something.
