The last I went to Binondo was 12 years ago. We ate at President Grand Palace Restaurant. It was the equivalent of the famous Yung Kee Restaurant (in Central, Hong Kong) at that time. I'm no longer updated with the current restaurants in Binondo.

My favorite dish at Golden Fortune is the baked chicken steak rice with red sauce.
Wai Ying along Benavides is ok.
In case you'd like Japanese food instead, Sushi-Yum ain't bad (also along Benavides)
For the budget challenged, the kiam pung and makimi at Eng Bee Tin (ongpin) is a favorite.

+1 on Golden Fortune in Soler St. Dimsum are discounted at around 2:30PM. Sincerity is good too---they're famous for their chicken. It's along Yuchengco St. where all the school and office supplies stores are. Xiao Chun Yuan makes mean oyster cake---much better than Sincerity's.
