I'm new in this industry, and I have my client ask me about final artwork.. Honestly don't know how to answer..
Can someone please help me understand what it means?

Re: Final Artwork
It means, press/print ready. Usually check if the file is in CMYK, fonts outlined and bleeds and cropmarks are set. Before it was EPS, now you can basically use any type of files depending on the software but preferably TIF or PDF on print.

Basically "F.A." or Final Artwork means yun Final Published Work ng Project mo. It's usually done in Adobe Illustrator & Adobe Indesign or even sa photoshop it depends san ang familarity ng Supplier at Client mo kung ano nirerequest sayo
Hi Resolution dapat ang File Size, Proper Layers (correct name per layer) at walang errors sa Typo at Fonts (It's required to break apart yung font na ginagamit mo).
Yan ang kinatatakutan ng Newbie artists but once you know the basic creative flow it's super easy nalang you can even process your F.A. in matter of hours yet minutes

Also, resolution is usually 300dpi, or depending on what Client asks for. And it depends on the printer. Some printers prefer photoshop, others are ok with PDF. Just ask.
Some printers will actually ask for the fonts that you used, so copy those font files into a separate folder in case you have to zip and email them. More often than not, PDF should be ok na.
