Default Design Work and Apps on Mountain Lion

    Hi guys,

Has anyone here upgraded to Mountain Lion yet? I'm curious to know how friendly the new OS is for our line of work. Font management, Adobe CS 5.5/6, video set ups--- given how problematic new migrations can be.

Reading on the new features of ML on Apple's site, I think they're great, but mostly for the common user. But for us, I'm wondering about what's been changed under the hood. The system/app incompatibilities, for example. So if anyone here has upgraded already, feedback would be very appreciated. Or if you've got some news from the web about this, any link is also welcome.

    Thanks!

I also use a font manager, Adobe CS6 and do some video editing. So far no problems upgrading to ML and all my apps work fine.

I made a thorough test of my Adobe apps and other apps I use for multimedia work to see if there are compatibility problems after the upgrade but none sufficed. In fact I even got noticeable system performance improvements. Apps are snappier and feels more stable than with Lion.

And I read too that Adobe issued a press release saying their apps are fully compatible with ML so I guess there's not much to worry about making the upgrade.

    Thanks for the reply!

Has anyone else experienced smooth sailing with ML so far? Or if you've experienced any issues after upgrading to ML with the apps we use (Adobe CS, FCP, video converters, font managers– I use FontExplorer X Pro, btw), feedback is very welcome.

No problems here with Adobe CS6 and Fontexplorer X with ML. Just make sure you update your apps regularly.
