62"x135" it is. But reduce the resolution to 72 or 100 dpi to lessen the burden on your ram. Not necessarily in CMYK, RGB would be fine.

Re: creating banner
Yup! Reduce it into 72 or 100 dpi... But if it is an FA, make it into 300 dpi and RGB is fine.

@drigal
300 dpi is ideal for offset printing though impractical when it comes to large format printing.
FA typical requirements for offset printing- 300 dpi minimum resolution
- CMYK color mode
- TIFF or PDF file format for single page layout (e.g. posters, print ads, etc.)
- PDF for multiple page layout (e.g. magazines, newsletters, books, etc.)
- Should always be in actual size to avoid mistakes
FA typical requirements for large format printing- 100 to 150 dpi resolution for short distance viewing less than 10ft.
- Even lower than 72 dpi for long distance viewing more than 10ft. (e.g. gigantic billboards)
- RGB color mode
- JPEG file format
- Should always be in actual size to avoid mistakes
