Average Battery Life of MBP used by artist

I am a new user of MBP,actually today is its 8th day.. im wondering if how long will the battery last if i use it everyday using adobe products, for example photoshop for 8 hrs.. can it stand until 8 hrs is done?

Depends what kind of program do you plan to use? Photoshop? A video editing program?

Mostly content creation software like Adobe CS5 tend to eat up a lot of CPU and Disk cycles so chances are you will only get around 2 to 3 hours of heavy use.

I agree with Salaryman Ryan.. I own a 15" MBP unibody and I use Photoshop extensively in my UI design works..

I only get around 3 1/2 hours (or sometimes less) out of it.. (wifi on)

I have a 2007 MBP 15" and I used it for InDesign and Photoshop works. My battery last for 2 hours maximum.

I own an i7 MBP mid 2010

and when I use Photoshop CS5, the battery usually lasts for at least 3 hours.
also depends if i'm using wifi.
