Ya - I dont have ANY single instrument that even comes close to 50 gigs ! But this one will ... .

Well.. I had Native Instruments Komplete 5 even thou its about 6 DVD's or CLOSE to that size - its a BUNCH of different instruments...

This will be interesting.


I just hope it takes less time to learn the software that learning the riffs I hear in my head on a real guitar!

Glad you guys are excited about it! We should be making an official announcement next week about its ship date (which, I'll give you a preview, is late April or first of May).

We've got lots more materials in the works -- more audio demos, video tutorials, etc. so there will be much more to feast your eyes on shortly.

One piece of info in that video is outdated: the library will be 28GB in size. We used Kontakt 4's lossless sample compression which achieved a reduction of almost 50% in file size compared to the raw files, plus it also speeds up Electri6ity's loading significantly. So clear off 28GB of space!

Hint hint, there may also be a preorder discount announced next week. Existing customers of Vir2 will automatically get the e-mail, or you can get on the mailing list by signing up to the general e-mail list at bigfishaudio.com.

Im honored that Vir2 noticed my post across the internet and replied to it !

I will have to screenshot and frame this one because... as many have seen from my previous posts I am a 100% virtual instrument studio musician and have been a big fish customer for over 10 years... maybe even 20 because I did see the Prosonus series they made in use in the 80's even though I personally never purchased until years later when I began to experiment with my own studio.

They havent been able to ship to Manila for me but so I just usually have to wait for an overseas visitor and then have them carry it on the plane. I will try JAC shipping this time !

If I could also have virtual singers I would .. ooh.. NEVRMIND - I forgot I had that as well... from SONIKA

But yes... Virtual Instruments reduced my studio size from an entire room to just a corner of the room... And the sounds from Vir2 packages I have seen... its just Amazing !

I just realized im already a newsletter subscriber from past purchases so I HOPE I can be the FIRST in Philippines to get my hands on that Electri6ity instrument !
