Any pricing yet ? after the 29th the new intro pioneer controller will be released too, which looks like interesting and I'm sure some other toys from other manufacturers at BPM.

Guys, a DJ friend dropped by and brought his sl1200 rig and serato 1 last night, he played for two hours. After he left, i setup the S4 and noticed the quality of sound was different mine was dull considering 24 bit na the S4. Got my initial music library from his file so the quality should be the same. Thanks guys

The Rane SL4, if that's the sound card your friend uses, costs almost as much as the Kontrol S4. So it must have better sounding DACs.

Well, that means the analog stage of the Rane is so much better than in the Kontrol S4. If your audio files are in 16 bit, then it won't matter even if you have a 24 bit sound card unless the S4 upsamples it to 24 bit, which I think it doesn't. But even if you have 24 bit audio files, if the analog stage of your sound card is not good enough, then even the best 16 bit sound cards will produce a much better sound.
