Default Looking for CD ripping service

Am moving out of my house and packing up my CD collection, most of which I haven't touched in years. Lots of oldie but goodie albums that I'd like to listen to but am lazy to digitize.

Does anyone know of a service here in Manila that will rip all these discs, tag the info properly, and return to me in MP3 format?

    Much appreciated.

I'd love to do that if only I were in Manila. Quick bucks! Somehow I enjoy tagging my music, which I did last year... all 37 GB of audio (I'm OC like that).

how many CDs are we talking about?

I did this to my own CD collection. took me a couple of months to do it. can't trust anybody else with the proper tagging, correct spelling of artists, including collaborative works (ie. 'featuring so & so"), adding album titles & album art, right genre, etc. gracenote is OK but not 100% accurate.

mmm......I've got spare computing power to do that quickly. Price: after the job is done, make a donation to the PSOD fund of PHILMUG (c/o Philmug treasurer). But I can only do the job after Holy Week. PM me the specs of the job.

Drop off 30 to 50 CDs at my house, Vic or meet you at Palms. We can "crowd-source" this burning mission of yours. My suggestion is to create an archive of Apple Lossless copies so you retain the tags. FLAC sana, but it's not great with tagging at all.

OT: I'll take care of your jazz CDs. You can give the Yoyoy Villame to other volunteers, haha!

damn, Chito you beat me to it. I wanted to the the jazz. Pwede ba sa iyo nalang yung mga smooth jazz? (though I can't imagine Vic having any of that stuff).

If you have a lot of classic rock. I can take care of that for you, Vic.

    No problemo, supremo, LOL!

Question, where do we store the burned tracks to give to you? I can copy them to a portable HDD and you can gather them from us, preferably over at The Steak Room (lagot ka, Vic!)
