Looking for CD ripping service
Am moving out of my house and packing up my CD collection, most of which I haven't touched in years. Lots of oldie but goodie albums that I'd like to listen to but am lazy to digitize.
Does anyone know of a service here in Manila that will rip all these discs, tag the info properly, and return to me in MP3 format?
Much appreciated.

I'd love to do that if only I were in Manila. Quick bucks! Somehow I enjoy tagging my music, which I did last year... all 37 GB of audio (I'm OC like that).

Re: Looking for CD ripping service
how many CDs are we talking about?
I did this to my own CD collection. took me a couple of months to do it. can't trust anybody else with the proper tagging, correct spelling of artists, including collaborative works (ie. 'featuring so & so"), adding album titles & album art, right genre, etc. gracenote is OK but not 100% accurate.
MBA 11", iMac 20", Macbook 13", iPad2 3Gs + wifi (64GB), iPhone 4 (32GB), iPod Touch 3 (64GB), iPod Touch 2 (8GB), iPod Classic 120GB, iPod w/ Video (60GB), iPod nano, Logic Pro 9 etc.

mmm......I've got spare computing power to do that quickly. Price: after the job is done, make a donation to the PSOD fund of PHILMUG (c/o Philmug treasurer). But I can only do the job after Holy Week. PM me the specs of the job.
