Help with In-ear headphone purchase
Hi guys, I need help in deciding which earphones to get. If you could give me a suggestion, here are my requirements.
1) Must be in-ear
2) good bass but not too much
3) budget is between $50-$100, it doesn't matter if its in the US as long as I can buy it online but it would be a plus if it has a local reseller here.
4) plus if it has a microphone/remote but doesn't really matter
5) The music I mostly listen to are jazz and acoustic so an earphone that would enhance my listening experience with these type of music is a plus.
6) Stylish.
Right now, the top on my list are Thinksound TS02 and Hifiman RE-0. Does anyone know if they have local resellers here?
TIA.

my suggestion would be to get a superlux hd381 package. you can get it at filters exchange.

Re: Help with In-ear headphone purchase
i recently bought a v-moda remix remote, and i think it would fit your 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 requirements. i am not an audiophile or acoustic expert, but i personally like the sound quality of those earphones, so i'm not sure if it will fit your no. 6. and i've seen them in digital walker stores.

i am using sennheiser MM50 iP right now. very balanced audio, very comfortable to the ear. good bass but not overpowering.

Check with Audiophile or PowerMac or old stock of Shure E4C. I got one for P9000 last year.

Re: Help with In-ear headphone purchase
This is what i use - SONY MDR-XB20EX.
It has the features you need.
Got it for $35 here in canada. for this price, it has a big bass driver. I listen to jazz/r&b and this suits me well. even if i lose it, i don't care. i've had had 3 of these already. the only thing about in ear headphones is that I don't like for running. if it's jammed in one's ear way deeper, you get to hear your foot thumps.

Yeah, the cx300 sounded really really good but my pair died on me in only 3 months!
Im looking at the Mee M9 which has pretty good reviews too. Theyre actually budget earphones but sound really good as others have said. Hard to find though.. only a handful in tipidpc has them, PCHub being one.
