Tried Soundmagic PL30. Better than the sound coming out from my MBP.. hahah! such an impulsive buyer because I was eyeing for a pair of AKG but I think Digital Hub/walker has pulled out all of it's AKG products..?!

Hmm maybe I'll go with the Miracle if in case I decide to splurge with 30k+++ earphones

Are the UM IEMs durable? Will the shell easily break if in case O drop it maybe around 3-4feet?

yeah i agree with the headphiler's suggestion to you in tpc, if you can shell out 40k, then just get the miracle's instead...

don't know about the durability of UM though.. but just in case, there's warranty naman

Too big for travels. Most of the time I'm on the go and I feel having and wearing full size cans while travelling will attract the attention of bad elements. Also, it's too pricy to have an audophile quality cans and audiophile quality IEMs at the same time

Hi Audiophiles! I'm looking at getting IEMs for my iPhone. I'm choosing between the following:

Sennheiser IE8
Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10
Klipsch S4 or S5i

Which among the three would be the best for dance/rnb/hiphop music?

Hmm I'll bet on the Sennheiser IE8. It is known for Bass right?

Remove the S4 and S5i from your choices. IMO, they really are not in the same league as the IE8 and TF10. That leaves you with the TF10 and the IE8. I prefer the TF10 for as I find it to have better mids and highs and more versatile. The IE8 on the other hand has better bass along with clear mids and highs. It big bass, goes deeper, and it does not affect the mids and highs. I think you'll like the IE8 better for your genres.
