hi I'm new here so I dont know if this is the right thread for this place but I need help looking for a good headphone

my earphones that comes free from my iPod is about to be worn out so i decided to buy a headphone. The thing is I'm a complete noob when it comes to headphones and i have gone through different forum looking for answers which non has replied yet.

Got any suggestion for a casual headphone for travels like MRT so I'd like mid size headphones.. I'm just a student so my price range is 4k pesos max ( i thinks its around $95). I'm not picky about music quality but i'd rather not listen to music than listening to a cheap and fake earphones that has REALLY horrible sound.

for that amount of budget for a headphone.. there's a lot of good buys already (i think)... try going to a Digital Walker shop. :] or wait a bit coz a lot of helpful peeps here that's big in knowledge with headphones will defo suggest some stuffs. :]

^ There are plenty of branches to choose from. If you're from the North, there's one in Trinoma. If you're from the SOuth, you'll find one in Moa. If you're from Manila, there's robinson's Ermita. Other branches are at Robinson's Galleria, Pioneer, Makati, etc.,

i didnt know trinoma has one.. so do they let you sample headphones there? cause in sm north at the apple retailer they dont have any sampling of headphones..

is it earphones or headphones you prefer? in-ear or buds? if you can give your music preference that would also help out some who would give recommendations, as some cans work best in certain genre of music

Im looking for portable on-ear headphones. As for the genre that would be hard cause I listen to almost all them.. except classic.. But I guess I listen to hiphop most of the time..
