DJ wannabe here help!
Hey guys,
I was in a party last night and I had fun DJing with my friend. I was mixing almost half of the party. I just wanna know what equipments do I need for my Mac Book Pro. I plan on using Virtual DJ as my software and using M-Audio X-Session since I was using that last night. What other things do I need and where could I buy that here? Thanks a lot people!

glad your into djng all you need now is an external sound card so you can cue the music with your headphones. try checking jb music for that i know logitech also make good not so expensive external sound cards. one piece of advice hough stay away from the sync button and practice with out using the graph. enjoy!
peace,
miguel

Re: DJ wannabe here help!
If you plan to DJ with yourMBP and you already have a M Audio Xsession Pro, I'd suggest getting an Audio2 soundcard from Native Instruments and a good set of DJ headphones. If you plan to further what you've experience than head over to Spin City DJ Academy where you can build on your DJ foundations more.

Re: DJ wannabe here help!
where is NAtive Instruments?
Not a where .. WHAT is NAtive Instruments
Its a brand of music software and equipment, they make Traktor Dj software, soundcards, synth software etc ...
Anyhoo, you'll need a sound card to run the gear so you can use headphones when mixing.
A Native Instruments "Audio2" is a great one to start off with, pro level and around 5-6k ... JB Music or Music Source in Alimall should be able to sort you out.
If you want to spend less you "could" get a usb soundcard for about 150peso's and use the "Aggregate Soundcard" function on your macbook, the sound will suffer on a decent speaker system though

Re: DJ wannabe here help!
The Audio 2 is available in The Music Source. They have branches in Ali Mall, Cubao and (I think...) ATC or Festival Mall in the south! We also carry NI itmes in Spin City and are sold to students with a student discount.
