Anyone Managing Flip Videos with iPhoto?

I have been using the flip ultra HD to create memories. I like editing it with iMovie too... and the easiest way to have the imovie see the flip video clips is if they are "inside" iphoto. Importing it directly to iMovie creates a video file that is 10x larger than the original and when imported to iphoto the video file size remains the same.

So anyone doing this already?

i have the 2011 version of the iphoto.

If anyone is interested, THIS is what I am doing.

I still keep the videos in my flipshare application, I just route my iphoto to look for videos in that direction without having to import the physical files into the iphoto app. So no HD space is wasted and i can see my video in iMovie, at the same time i can still Use the Flip software for those fast edits
