Show of Hands...
I've attended some Philmug meetings and have been surprised to find some members were actually female. Some nicks and avatars have a decidedly feminine feel but some are more ambiguous.
Ladies, can we have a show of hands? While we're at it can I also ask:
1. who introduced you to the mac
2. your general location
Maybe we can meet up for a Philmug Ladies' Night.
Let me start:
My nick is MiKo (a.k.a. Rushel)
My husband Eric introduced me to the mac way back 1995, been addicted ever since.
Location: QC

As you can see, I'm Jiru-chan (Jill). Nobody really introduced me to the Mac; I immediately gushed when I saw the original iMacs. I live somewhere in Quezon City.
Maybe we can meet up for a Philmug Ladies' Night.
I agree!!!! Am sure other female members would want that. Di ba, girls?

That sounds like a great idea. Maybe we can hold it somewhere in QC?
My dad introduced me to the mac with his powerbook which I used during my freshman year before he got a Centris 660AV for me to use.
I live in the Katipunan Area of Q.C.

Mac Addict
Hey, I'm Eliza.. but most call me Elai. I'm in QC but I work in Rockwell. Some of my friends are Mac users and I decided to buy one when it came to spending my own money on a serious piece of hardware. Get the best, right?

Chinggay here, from Greenhills
Started using a mac cause my brothers used them a lot (and I think they were the only computers we had back then). Switched to a pc cause that's what we had to use in high school and college... but i'm back to using a mac now!

Didi O here- first laid my eyes on d' Mac in 1986 at a computer fair, and the handout i got turned out to be a copy of the first brochure for the Mac.
That did it for me: a cute little desktop publishing system for around $3,000 that ran circles around the $20,000 mainstream choice. My school had 2 Macs that i would tinker around with constantly, and upon my recommendation, my dad got a Mac Plus for the house.
Ladies' Night? Sure :-)
