Photography workshop
Hi. I am very interested to learn about photography. I have a Nikon d80 camera but doesn't know how to use it to its best performance. I don't know if we have a thread about this already. Please help me. Photo Manila seems good but it's so far from my place. I would like to ask about feedbacks on seminars such as Nataniel salang's, or Jo Avila's. or who else that is within Makati or QC area. Thanks in advance.

Try Photoworks by Leo Castillo and you can look for his threads here in Philmug.. He used to hold his classes in Astorias Plaza in Ortigas but I heard he moved to a new location..Hope this helps!

Re: Photography workshop
+1 on Jo Avila.
Had some friends take his course and they were more than satisfied.
Plus I hear he gives a lot of freebies like Digiprint GCs. :P

Re: Photography workshop
I'm a 'graduate' of sir Jo Avila's photography class and I'm thankful for it.
Learned everything from the basics of dslr (aperture, shutter speed) to the basics of studio photography (lighting, using reflectors, where to put the lighting, etc).
Can't imagine going to my trips without the basic dslr knowledge I got from his classes.
Cheers!
