Missed buying a 25mm 1.7 though![]()
I have the 20mm and i really like it a lot, i am however tempted at the 25mm but was adviced by a die hard Leica head who owns the OMD and the 25mmlens to stick with the 20mm bec. Kaunti lang daw talaga difference hehehe

I was also torn between the 20mm and 25mm when I was checking for the "normal" lens.
I tested both.
The AF of 25mm is fast. But it rattles on my E-M5.
The AF of 20mm is on the slower side.
I believe image quality is almost the same (the 25mm renders better).
I want the fast AF of the 25mm but I pick the 20mm because of the size.
The 20mm is attached to my E-M5 90% of the time.
It's my everyday all purpose lens.
I also have the 45mm in my bag in case I want that bokehlicious background for portrait street photography.![]()

Russell, I read that the noise is made by the aperture iris opening and closing in changing light situation and that shooting in M or Aperture priority mode seemed to help as the aperture remains constant. Kung makahiram ka ulit ng 25mm pakisubok naman idol to confirm this. Thanks
Congrats po sir!

I have the 25mm for 2 days already, doesn't rattle so far. Tried A/P/S/M modes. I tried Shutter priority just a while ago, no odd sounds coming from the aperture blades. Hmm...

@Dan, I've noticed that the rattling comes from the aperture blades. When the lens experience drastic change in lightings. I think it adjusts to get the proper exposure. I haven't tried in M mode. I only tested it in A mode. Will try it next time.
Just want to share.
My new toy.
