I'm using a canon 40D kit lens (18-55) and 50mm II (aka nifty fifty) and a 15mil crumpler bag.

Parang DPP

I still have a Rebel XT (known here in the PI as 350D). Just had it cleaned and works like brand-new again. My gear includes an 18-55, 50mm, 24-70, a Sigma 70-300 and a 580ex II with a Tamron Velocity 8 sling bag.

This is my flickr page with photos that mostly comes from my Rebel XT and a few Canon G9 shots.

@coreofignorance, your signature suggests you switched?

Former 350D owner before it got stolen together with kit lens and Tamron 70-200. I now own a 450D, kit lens, Canon 70-300 zoom lens, 430 EX Flash.

@bacchus_3 OT but nice Husky. I'm into dogs as well.

oh that's from a dog show I went to early this month. It's from a pretty owner here in Bacolod

I'd like to get myself a pure breed one of these days...a dog that is

Hi Sir Bacchus! Ahaha! i did not see that. So much for not being online here at philmug. :P haven't updated my account for a long time. as you can see in my sig "Next target" but i opted to canon, weird? yes! so weird

@coreofignorance, good choice! I've always hoped to upgrade to a 40D myself...but I won't be doing that until my 350D dies on me. It's still a great camera

@ bacchus. I believe sir you have a lot of experience in DSLR, why not upgrade to FF if you have a chance?

but great choice sir for 350D. Still learning sir, my cam is just almost 3 months old

Not a lot compared to the masters here in PhilMUG. If Santa gives me a gift check for a FF Canon DSLR body, why not?!

I drool everytime I see the ads of the BIG guns!

Enjoy your cam, shoot a lot, and learn a lot.

@coreofignorance, yes, the 350D is a very capable DSLR indeed. I would still be using one if mine didn't get stolen.

If you're new in photography, I suggest the FPPF workshops http://www.photoworldmanila.com/
