What do you call your mac?

i'm wondering whether you guys have named your macs? back then, we used to name our gear. my ex-gf used to call her ride, bumpy. i know a guy who calls his portable stove, sparky. i called my tent, 'alab'.

now, my ibook has just been christened, maia.

what do you call your mac?

Always wanted to name one of my kids "Matibay" but never realy dared go with it... so my MacBook Pro due this Tuesday gets the name...

after a few weeks, I'm sure we'll all have a 'cuter' nick for it at my house!

All my previous PCs and laptops have had female names. My iBook's name is "Isabel".

all my devices and gadgets also had female names but broke the convention
with my new Intel Macs. The 20" iMac is SparkleMac and my Mac Book Pro is now SparkleBook.

I call my iBook "iYah". I just thought of a name that starts with a small "i". Hehe!

The "iVy" name is set for my iPod due next week. I also gave names to all my other gadgets. By the way, all the names I've given are from actual/real people I know.

it's still Mac right now because then again there's still just one Mac in the house. But if ever we get another Mac then i'll start referring to it by color. Hopefully that's because "puti" will have "itim" to keep her company, though i don't mind if that will be "abo" instead of "itim".

My PB's name is rocket. My 3 year old son named him after the spaceship of the "Little Einsteins".
