Gerry Kaimo was wondering about this, and got me interested in it too: how much OPM do you keep in your iPod?
Kindly tick the closest approximate number, and if you have time, add a post to tell us how many, what music it is, by whom, what titles there are, etc. to give us a rough idea of the state of OPM in iPodLand.
Don't be shy now. We all know about your secret Claire de la Fuente tracks.
I have about 150-200 songs or so. About fifteen albums worth. Some South Border, Louie Ocampo, Regine, True Faith, Jun Lopito, Nyoy Volante, Francis M, Radioactive Sago, a lot of Gary Valenciano and, um, other stuff.
i have somewhere in the 500-600 songs range, most of it opm from the 80s and a lot of philippine choir stuff (madrigals, ateneo glee club, ust singers; converted from tape to digital). the challenge is avoiding pirated stuff in my collection, so i guess im proud to say i only have 3 illegit american idol songs (i got through kazaa) and 0 lawsuits... i hope
I have around 300++ OPM songs from the Youth, Yano, Eraserheads, Rivermaya (old albums), Wolfgang, Razorback, the Jerks, Kapatid, P.O.T. and Juan dela Cruz band.
I was asking Gary V. during our shoot at his house in Antipolo recently if it is possible to have his complete songs (from his first album to his latest, and including singles and other releases) in my iPod. I remember him mentioning a year or so ago that all of his songs are in his iPod. Some of his recent songs are still available on CDs but his early works are no longer offered at the music bars. It would be very interesting to have the complete Gary V. catalog in my iPod. In any case, so far, the only artist that I have the complete songs is Madonna--all her releases from the start, including singles, maxi-singles, remakes, live performances, inspired by, and others. It's quite interesting that I can listen to different "Madonnas". The other local artist that I have lots of songs in my iPod is Regine Velasquez.
