    Unlike some folk here who have complete and perfect faith that virii are a non-issue with Macs, I like to be prepared.

    I've had Virex on my system for a while already, updated regularly and faithfully.

    I like to think it's like always having an umbrella in the car. You never know.

    There was a bug somewhere in the codes that we haev to fix. You should see the results without any problems now.

    My sister's mac has norton antivirus for mac. Well, so far so good. No viruses. YET.

    since im using mac osx, iv always considered viruses as a low risk, but, as previously stated here, id wanna be prepared. so i got one of those freebie antivirus prog (clamxav). when viruses become a problem, thats the time id prolly wanna invest more

    I have complete faith in OSX and i refuse to install any anti-virus software. It's such a windows type of mentality. I mean why did i switch in the first place? ..... Yabang ba? Haha!

    I never felt the need for ant-virus software myself. When I had an iBook I had Norton for Mac, but then my Mac had never gotten itself into any situation that would make it need Norton, so I uninstalled the Norton and had not touched the Norton since then.

    Since i shifted to mac, i never installed any anti-virus software since day one. I never felt any need.
