Scan over wifi
Would anyone know of a scanner that would allow me to scan over wifi / wired network? A friend has 1 MacBook, 2 Windows laptops, and an iPad that they would want use to scan and print wirelessly.

@kyutums, the iphone/ipad app used by Brother is called 'Brother iPrint&Scan', as mentioned by potpot2, it is a free app available from the itunes app store.

Re: Scan over wifi
Just bought a Brother MFC-J265W last week for just 5k from Fair N Square (Binondo). Pretty cool!
soloworx: It's a network fax, printer and scanner. You can place it anywhere in a room or even anywhere in your house that has a WIFI signal. No more USB cable required. Just configure the IP setting and the software on the mac and pc side and you're good to go. Pressing scan on the MFC will send the jpg file to any Mac/PC on the network. You can even fax documents directly from your Mac/PC

Thanks so much for this Ken. Been looking for a networked MFC with individual ink cartridges and is, of course, Mac-compatible, to replace our ancient HP DJ F380. This is perfect.
