How to delete the waiting icons at ipod touch! my wifi connection turned off the the waiting icon still there even i reboot the itouch or signout at apps store its still there! oh my how to delete it

sync your iPod to your itunes. OR tap the "waiting" icon so it'll be "Paused" and then tap again. Maybe it just needs a refresh

Try to restart your device too and wait for the Apple ID prompt to appear which will ask for your password. If nothing prompted you, try to tap it and wait fot it to prompt. Be sure also you're connected via wifi or 3G (if the app us less than 20mb).
