Use while chargin.

Im a 1st time owner (not necessarily a 1st time user). So I would like to know if it is safe to use my Iphone4 while it is being charged because the battery drains quite fast when playing games.

Or is there a way to turn-off cellphone function while playing games with the iphone so as not to drain the battery fast. This was possible with my Treo phones.

i did try it before but it's not performing correctly i.e when you send an sms the character showing up is not the one you actually typed etc.

o fcourse its possible to use the phone while charging and turning of cellphone function is possible as well by activating airplane mode.

I also experienced touch screen malfunction if I am using a non-authentic charger.

I'm playing iOS games while charging too but my battery is pretty much holding up.

Try to close all your open apps in multitasking, reboot the phone (while still plugged) and then check again. It might be an energy draining app that causing problems on your phone and not your charger.

Thanks for your tips and responses specially the airplane mode. I didnt say that phone battery drained while charging. I meant that Im thinking of playing games while the phone is attached to its charger, so as not to drain the battery unnecessarily, when possible.

Battery drains quite fast when playing games.
