Sound dock

I have my jbl soundock for the iPhone since my 3G days but unfortunately I had to remove the casing everytime I want to use it. It was annoying at first but later got use to it. I tried the iphone4 with the casing and to my surprise it fits perfectly. The casing that I'm using is the incase casing which comes free from the case program. I just wanna ask will all soundocks fit with the iphone4 with the case? Or I was just fortunate that the jbl had a perfect fit?
