Angry iPod Nano 6th Gen keeps asking to restore

My iPod Nano was working perfectly until the other day I drained its battery and when I plugged it in it said I need to restore it but when I restore it it gives me this error 1429.

Looked all over online and I've tried their remedies but nothing so far.

    What I've tried:
    Different computers (Mac and PC)
    Updating iTunes
Changing its directory letter (from Drive F to Drive M)

    Nothing seems to work.

Am I missing something? I wanna try one last thing before heading to the Apple store.

    Thanks!

have you tried running checkdisk thru a windoze computer?

in the cmd window, type "chkdsk X: /f" [without the " and where "X" stands for the drive letter of your iPod]

after successfully running the above, try restoring the iPod thru iTunes again and update us on the results.
