is there an app that i could download to check the pixel of my iphone? im starting to get paranoid
on your iPhone, go here
there's a free app called flashlight. it makes your screen red blue green white and black. this isn't a dead pixel finder or anything but its helpful i think since you can check your screen with that app.
i got my iphone 4 last weekend... after a few days i noticed the proximity sensor is faulty.
just got a new unit as a replacement... 1 dead pixel near the top of the screen.
will let this one go...

Went to a Globe business center to have the dead pixel examined. After a while, they decided they should take my phone and send it to Apple for repair or replacement. It will be a long three weeks of waiting.
can you replace the iphone 4 on globe even if its only 1 dead pixel?
^ I could not tell if it was just one pixel. But it was large enough to be noticed, even by other people. In any case, they took it in under warranty; I just don't know if they are having it repaired it or replaced altogether.
