I'm bothered by the way my 3rd generation Apple TV seems to refuse to delete some home-shared video podcasts.
I've home shared my iMac's iTunes library with the Apple TV, and often watch some video podcasts I download on the iMac there on the ATV. But there are four old CNET podcasts that refuse to disappear from the ATV's menu, even if I'd already deleted and trashed them from the iMac.
Newer video podcasts I download on the iMac regularly appear on the ATV, and disappear when I trash them, but these four podcasts are always there on the ATV menu, and they even play through when I click on them. These vids were deleted, trashed and cleared from the iMac long ago, yet still are there sitting on the ATV menu.
Now I know the ATV can't store the files, so they must be still on my system somehow, and the ATV can still find them. But how? It's been weeks, and they're still there, and I'm at a loss as to how to delete them.
Anyone know what's going on?
