    Default deleting apps

    How do I delete apps that does not have an x mark when i press the icon for a few seconds? I can't also find all my apps in itunes.

    Those apps with no X in their icon CANNOT be deleted. They are the original Apple apps that are built in.

    Since you can't find all your apps in iTunes, it is possible that you purchased or downloaded the missing apps under a different user name.

    actually some of the apps are downloaded from cydia. Can i still erase the said app?

    On the subject of deleting apps, I was downloading an apps—a video recorder, but it failed to download completely. Now the icon is just sitting there with an uncompleted progress bar with the caption "Waiting...". Any recommendations?

    I think you have to complete the download first before you can delete it.. Try connecting it to iTunes.. It should try to download the file as well.. Hth
