    BPI My ePrepaid

    I already read some reviews online and they say that it's definitely worth having even if it's only as good as cash.
    Also, some say that it's working with paypal, but some say it's not.
    I just want to know if you guys already own this card and if it's possible to share your experiences..

    Thanks!

    I've been using this since December and made a lot of online purchases already. Reloading of the card is via bpiexpressonline and it's very easy! 10k is quite small but it's more than enough for small purchases like iTunes GCs.

    I'm not sure but the bank teller told me that there is a 500php processing fee when you get the card..

    @himuramaki
    I called BPI earlier and they told me that you can use it on almost any online store including iTunes - but still, I'm not sure because I don't have my card yet XD

    So this is essentially a prepaid Philippine issued credit card. Which probably means it's no different than any other credit card other than it's being prepaid. Nice features. Having the 10k limit is good security. But it's still Phil. issued, so it probably won't work with sites that require US issued cards like the iTunes store.

    iamtij, probably means buying iTunes GCs from ebay sellers or via Paypal etc.
    FYI, Datablitz and shops in V-mall sells iTunes GCs

    but 500 is a bit high than UnionBank EON which is I think 350 pesos only which you can use for Paypal and all online and over the counter deposit and transfer,

    btw can eon also use as mastercard?

    I agree.. But if you're an old BPI account holder, I guess it's ok - because reloading won't be a problem since you can enroll this to online banking and get money from your other accounts. I think, for me, it's like paying for the hassle free service. Also, this is 500/two years while EON is 350/year
