yeah its not covered. pag papayos mo mas mapapamahal ka lang. its not noticeable naman imo. hehe my macbook aluminum got dents all over. so far so good

Sorry about the dent. I'm OC so stuff like this really bothers me a lot. Unfortunately, our fellow Philmuggers are correct, Applecare does not cover accidental damage inflicted by the user. Your only option here now is to either live with it, cover it with a hardshell, or see if you can buy a new top shell (quite pricy).

AFAIK, the LCD cover can no longer be purchased without the LCD assembly ;-(

Just look at the bright side, your LCD display wasn't damage in the incident. Had your LCD been damaged and with that dent, Apple wil most probably deny you of warranty LCD replacement

I know someone whose KB backlight (some not all) would no longer work. When he presented the MBP to an ASP, warranty work was denied since the KB Liquid Spill Indicators were activated.

Could work but you have to take out the innards of the LCD panel.
