Re: Dent repair?
When you bring your laptop to an authorized service center, they'll have the part replaced instead of repaired. Dents are BTW, not covered by Applecare.
When a vase fell on top of my daughter's old Powerbook, I bought the replacement part from welovemacs.com and had it installed by Ynzal. Same with my current MBP: I had the top bezel (the part w/ the wrist rest and trackpad) replaced because of a deep gash. Had to pay 6k for the item. An Apple dealer friend brought it home from a recent trip from the mothership.

Re: Dent repair?
waah I have a dent in my Macbook too.. my dad accidentally step on the lan cable connected to my Macbook so it feel from the center table. grrr.. after taking care of it like a baby now it has scars. Does anyone have an idea how much would the case holding the lcd cost? because it's the only part with a dent.
Because of the incident, I am 100% sure of getting an Apple Care soon.
