clueless about what to do with her MBP prob
i used to have a super resource person for these things but for now im trying to grow up and learn these things myself - haha!
anyway, here's my problem, when im using my MBP and its not plugged in, it just shuts down without any warning even if the battery says there's still 53 minutes. is this normal? should i be worried? is there something im supposed to be doing? is there something im not doing right?
haha...yeah im a panicky one. help!

Bring it to your Mac service center.
It could be temperature problem inside your unit due to problem with
1. Fan
or
can be memory problem
Initially have you done a software update?

Your battery might possibly a actually dead as well. Hopefully its the battery rather then anything to do with the computer itself.

I suspect the battery as well. If it does not shut down intermitttently while plugged in, something starting from the battery down to the power unit would be suspect. Ever try using the battery indicator on the battery itself (the small lights beside the small buttom at the bottom of the MBP)?

Maybe it could be the logic board. I had a similar experience with my 1st MBP. Have it checked at your nearest apple service center just to be sure.
