You can only apply for AppleCare once to extend the one-year limited warranty by two more years. After that, there really is no other warranty you can buy to cover your Mac.

don't fret. there is no problem, really.

if you got applecare for your macbook once already, and the november (2008?) above is the 3rd birthday of your mac -- then you cannot extend the warranty further. three years warranty (1 year standard + 2 years APP) is the most anyone can get.

on the contrary you should smile, your mac has made it this far

APP is a case-to-case basis. The following can happen:

    1. You buy APP. You end up using it. (sulit!)
    2. You buy APP. You end up not needing it. (oh well, small price to pay for peace of mind )
    3. You buy APP. It 'expires'. Then, your Mac breaks down 2 days after.
    4. You don't buy APP. Your Mac lasts 4-5 years without having to visit a service center. (lucky you)
    5. You don't buy APP. Your Mac breaks down and you end up wishing you bought APP.

In the end, it's all up to you. (and a matter of budget as well, for some.)

APP for an iMac is approximately P9,000 SRP. You should be able to find it even cheaper with some hunting

Logic board, LCD and other similar repairs all run upwards of P9,000 to repair.

That being said, P9,000 divided by 24 months additional coverage equals a mere P375 per month. Think of it as giving up 3 Starbucks Frappes a month for peace of mind and it becomes a no-brainer
