60W MagSafe Power Adapter
Hello. This is my first post here. I just acquired my Macbook today.
Here's my question: Can I plug the 60W MagSafe Power Adapter on a 220 voltage?

Re: 60W MagSafe Power Adapter
read the label on your adaptor. i believe its good for 100-240V.

Re: 60W MagSafe Power Adapter
Since you did not mention if the Magsafe was a Genuine one or 3rd party, its best to check on markings on the adapter and just to be extra sure, ask the seller from where you purchased it.

Re: 60W MagSafe Power Adapter
Speaking of this MAGSAFE, I am quite impressed with this technology. I have been tripping a few times with my macbook while plugged and the thing really detaches itself very easily!!! Galing!!!
Though, sa first day ng macbook ko I already lost the tiny cover for the adapter. Shame on me. Hahaha. When I saw the cover I already said to myself, "This thing is meant to be lost."

Hi
just asking is it normal for magsafe to be connected to power source and mb but sometimes no led light?
is this a ground for warranty defect?

i don't think it's normal that there's no led light. that never happened to me (yet).
it should always show green if you have a full battery, or amber/orange when it's charging.
try bringing your magsafe to a service center and have them check it.

Re: 60W MagSafe Power Adapter
for whatever it's worth, i've used a 60w magsafe power adapter to power my macbook pro, which typically uses the 80w adapter.
and when i wore out the tip (the cable connecting to the plug), which led to intermittent charging or "loose connection", powermac center said they don't repair them. bummer, i had to buy a new adapter. good thing the company paid for it.
