    Default warranty coverage question

    Good day Philmuggers,
I am a long time mac user (since 2002) I've never had to repair any of my apple purchases so I dont know how applecare works exactly here in Manila.
I am looking to buy a used iMac, this is my first time buying used, anyways, the ad said no apple warranty , however, when seller emailed me the serial number, it showed that it has apple care coverage till 2013 (so am assuming seller does not know the unit has extended coverage). Now my question is... IF somehow I will need repair on my imac in the future, is the serial number showing coverage on apple's website enough proof that I have applecare?
    Thank you for your help

    Default warranty coverage question

Yes. Apple only asks for a receipt if there is a dispute on the date registered and date posted
