Default iMac - Regular Updates (Hardware)

At what time of the year does Apple usually release new versions of iMac?

Has there been a release for this year?

    Thanks.

Apple just launched the new iMacs about 2 days ago. All models are now quad core and with higher spec video cards. Apple has no fixed schedule on releasing new models each year but usually Macs are updated a year after its launch.

Apple depends on Intel for their processors so keep up to date on the latest Intel Core processors. The 2012 iMac is expected to come out March next year at the earliest. This will sport Ivy Bridge technology.
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:37-40

    Hi Dethro,

You can try checking the Apple USA site at http://www.apple.com/imac/

I think for the Asian region we will have the updated iMacs a bit later.

    Thanks

You must be mistaken. iMacs has always been quad core since May 2011.
