How to secure a Mac mini?
It seems that my investment in Kensington locks are not paying off. The new Mac Minis don't have security slots for it!
Is there someone here locally that sells theft security solutions for the Mac Mini? I've read up on a few but it seems they only sell them abroad.

^^Actually, it's for my piece of mind and pocket. Even 27" iMacs get stolen after all.

Perhaps because it serves as a level of protection or deterrent against thieves who break in to steal stuff? Thieves are usually pressured for time and will go for quick "low hanging fruit" such as easy to pickup laptops, mobile phones and jewelry and usually will leave secured and locked downed items. If you have been following some threads in Philmugs these break ins have been getting more common among apartments and homes. Shinrai's concern is very valid.
Also Minis are favored office and school Macs because of their low cost and their versatility. Not being able to lock them down is quite a security problem for those managing computer labs and networks. Its quite an oversight.

Didn't know that the new minis no longer have a security slot...
You could just buy a cheap cash box and fit the mini in it. Or go to a latero and have a mini shelf made out of stainless blanks. Of course these won't be that pleasing to the eye, but they would cost way less and won't be thought about having a mini in them.
