dual monitors on mac mini 2011 2.5ghz
I'm thinking of getting the basic Mac mini with the Intel HD 3000 graphics or the 2.5 version, I'm planning to run two 23" LED screens - one with a mini DisplayPort to DVI, the other with an HDMI to DVI.
Has anyone tried this and confirmed that it works?
Thanks

doesnt it have 2 HDMI ports? if so, why not use both HDMIs instead?

The older ones with mini displayport and mini dvi could do it. I don't see why the new ones can't.

Photoshop and other graphic intensive software such as games will have an effect. Otherwise, you'll be ok. The bottleneck is the slow hard disk. I still experience slowdowns because of hard disk I/O.
@vgsison thanks. I sold my iMac at a loss to achieve this superior setup.

Quick question -
If I connect my Mac Mini to my monitor via mini DVI connection - for primary Mac use
Can I then connect my LCD TV via the HDMI cable? and when I play videos - it will play in the TV and TV wont be showing my desktop?
Can that be done via VLC?or Quicktime?
Thanks
oops just realized the above is not possible.. theres only 1 video out (hdmi) for the new mac mini..
How can I have dual display with just 1 HDMI out?

You can use the Thunderbolt port for your second display using a Minidisplayport cable or directly if you are using thunderbolt compatible Apple displays.
