it's priced way too close to the iPad for it to be a real challenger. it's a little too optimistic at this stage because the apps aren't quite there yet.

I'm sure if Apple miraculously came up with an update at the event later that enables Flash support for the iPad and iPhone, you would install it in a "flash". Why? Because whether you admit/accept it or not, not having Flash support is a compromised browsing experience and no one wants to see those silly blue cubes on your crystal clear display when browsing the net.

I agree with the fellow muggers regarding the price. I was hoping a 20 to 28k price range at its price I rather get an Ipad . I dont need the phone .

After using an HTC Desire for a couple of weeks now, I think an Android tablet has lucrative niche. I was also able to test Android on a larget screen (I was able to install Android 1.6 on my old Eee PC 4G) and it worked well enough to be usable. With Froyo's Flash support, decent document handling via Docs to Go, Google Apps integration, phone/wireless data capabilties and apps already available in the Android market, I think the Android tablets have a bright future ahead of them.
I find it weird that the Galaxy Tab will be arriving earlier than the iPad, at least here in the Philippines. With a lot of existing iPad users who bought their units abroad and then the official availability of the Galaxy Tab, will people still buy the iPad locally once it finally comes in?
Hey, any word on when is the official Philippine release? Yugatech said end of October. Did I miss it or was it delayed?
