I installed Macdrive 8 on my Windows 7 Boot Camp partition. As promised I can now read and write on my OS X partition. Does this mean I can now choose to install new Windows apps on my OS X partition?

I installed Macdrive 8 on my Windows 7 Boot Camp partition. As promised I can now read and write on my OS X partition. Does this mean I can now choose to install new Windows apps on my OS X partition?

Macdrive 8 user here. As it is, Windows 7's NTFS file system is less efficient than HSF+, as seen in the app installation process & by the sluggishness experienced after opening from sleep in Windows. To keep things at Windows 7's "efficiency", I keep NTFS stuff inside NTFS & let Windows 7 install apps in its default location (drive c).
Macdrive 8 though can make you get used to it that I sometimes forget other Windows PCs cannot access my Mac drives...

I see. Yes, operation is seamless you forget what you bought. Paragon NTFS 9.0 is doing brilliantly in OS X. I do less switching between windows and OS X now.
