Default where have all my bookmarks gone?

Opened Safari this AM and found all my bookmarks have disappeared (including my bookmarks bar). Tried checking preferences and drop-downs of Bookmark but cant seem to locate them.

Any help or advise on how retrieve them will be much appreciated.

    TY

Are you using iSync? Do you have a .Mac account?

Actually, the reason I asked is because iSync backs-up Safari bookmarks into a .Mac account.

Cmd + B brings out your Bookmarks Bar. Have you tried that?

    Have you repaired permissions already?

Applications | Utilities | Disk Utility. Select your hard drive in the left frame and click on Repair Disk Permissions.

EDIT: halos sabay pa kami ni Hannibal.

    Default me too!

my Bookmarks Bar has disappeared as well this morning. just right after a restart because of a pldtdsl disconnection. but the bookmarks both in the Menu and Bar folders themselves are still there when you type command option B.

but where has the Bookmarks Bar gone?

is it just me or there is really nothing in Safari Help that tells you how to make it appear in the first place?

by the way i just did repair permissions.

Have you tried Safari -> View -> Bookmarks Bar (or command-B)? I'm not sure if that's what you mean.

    Default simpleng panic!

maraming salamat sa pagtuturo ng obvious.

buti na lang di ahas.. like they say always say.

    kung hindi patay na ako.

    thanks a lot, patrick!

now let me turn to the significant other who was using it actually before it happened.
