    Does anybody know how to map a virtual drive on a network? Been following the procedures posted on the Net but to no avail.

    by mapping, did you mean connecting to another PC (mac or windows) shared hard drives/directory?

    if yes you can use command + k then type the name of the computer and the name of the shared directory e.g.

    smb//:saibot/d$ (for windows)
    afp//:saibot/shared (for mac)
    even Genius asks questions!
