Looking For WYSIWYG HTML Editor
Hi All,
I use Microsoft Publisher 98 (on a desktop Wintel) for basic HTML editing. I've tried using Netscape's built-in Composer but it gives me a headache.
I want to move my HTML publishing work on a laptop (for mobility, obviously). And the only laptop I have is a Graphite iBook.
Is there a simple WYSIWYG HTML editor (similar to Publisher 98) for OS X?
I don't need Flash nor animation nor javascript stuff capability but I don't want to manually type all tabs on TextEdit. I just need the ability to preliminary layout a page without going into code.
Thanks in advance.

you can try Adobe GoLive or Macromedia DreamWeaver.
both runs in OSX.

Personally, I prefer Dreamweaver. The WYSIWYG editor produces the cleanest code I've seen so far. Haven't tried GoLive so I can't say how well it codes. You can check versiontracker for more "lightweight" editors.

Dreamweaver is expensive, right?
I'll take your offer on checking versiontracker.
